It's a distance from the Murdheswar temple. The property is huge bang on the beach. Clean and spacious. It has ample car parking space. Has a restaurant that serves decent food and personnel willing to do that extra bit for you. Good for couple of days of solitude.

This property is right on the beach, many rooms have beach view. Has a decent swimming pool and their own restaurant. It is only 2KM from the famous Murdeshwar temple. Rooms are huge, bathrooms are excellent. Rooms have balconies, with sea views. Overall, rooms are very well maintained and give ample comfort. Restaurant is decent. Complimentary breakfast was all 'south'. Upma, Shira, Idly, Vada, set dosa, fresh fruit, tea coffee. Food quality was decent. They had exact same breakfast on both days which was a bit disappointing. Dinner was a bit late down, not because of food quality but because of limited menu. They told us chef has taken vacation and have limited staff so menu is a bit limited. I think it was more of mid week and so they kept the limited items due to less rush may be. Food prices are fair, reasonable. We found this is the only restaurant in the area which was decent and clean. Not many options as far as restaurants in Murdeshwar area. Overall, stay was very comfortable and everyone in family enjoyed the stay at this hotel. I recommend for sure.

As the name suggest, it has a huge golf course around the resort. The resort overlooks the serene Arabian sea as you can see in the pictures from our room. We stayed in a Deluxe AC room. The room overlooked the swimming pool, golf course and the sea. Since the area of the resort is huge, they also have coconut tree plantation on one end of the resort. The proximity to the temple from back road makes this resort a locational advantage with full service at affordable rates. What is unique about the resort is that it has 75% women staff and they were very courteous. They also provide spa services on request given at least 4 hours before your requirement. One of the few drawbacks of the resort was that it's lift was not working and everytime we had to get down 2 floors by stairs with senior citizens along with us. Food - We had dinner and breakfast at the only restaurant in the resort. For Jain food in dinner we had dahi rice & Dal khichdi. It was decent. However the Masala chaas was freshly made and out of the world. We almost had 2 glass per person. For breakfast, the spread was limited but sufficient with dosa, idli and medu vada for Jain along with coconut chutney. Also you can try vanilla milkshake which is out of the menu and separately chargeable. Transport - The resort can be accessed through two approach roads, one directly from the national highway NH66 (Around 500 mts off highway) and another through the road which runs parallel to the sea. (Which further leads to Murdeshwar temple). It takes roughly 3-3.5 hours from Mangalore airport by car. Regular trains also run between Mangalore and Murdeshwar railway stations (resort is 5 Kms/8 mins from the station). Cost and booking - We completed our booking through makemytrip.com. We paid Rs. 2900 for a twin sharing room with breakfast.

We visited Murdeshwar as a part of a family trip and booked 4 rooms at this resort. The location of this resort is just superb, right next the the beach (albeit a dirty beach with lots of trash), and just 2-3 km from the main area of Murdeshwar. Also, the hotel has well manicured lawns stretching as far as the eyes can see. Every room has a nice balcony and, in the mornings, you can see peacocks wandering the lawns. However, our interaction with their staff was quite disappointing. The air-conditioning was not working well in 3 of the 4 rooms we were assigned and when we reported this, the guy in charge was quite arrogant and told us that they couldnt do anything about it. As a result, we had a less than comfortable stay because this is a very hot time of the year. Also, the toilets in the rooms were not well cleaned when we checked in. The most annoying thing was that we got a call at 5.00am in the morning from the reception, which might have been a wake up call intended for a different room. I do hope they get better trained staff, and get the air conditioning fixed, as this resort has all it takes to provide an amazing experience to its guests.

This is the only review you will need to read for this property. We are an extremely well travelled middle aged couple who have seen the World.I booked through ‘Booking.com’ at a price of 2700 Rupees per night, we were just staying the one night. When I punched my PIN number into the Hotels Credit Card machine they had charged me 3450 Rupees. Arguments with the Receptionist made no difference despite me showing her my Confirmation from Booking.com We asked for a refund or a much better room and she refused on both counts. Anyway we got to our room which had a great view across the garden and over the sea. It was a fabulous view. The room however was not!!! The TV had no English Channels, the curtains were hanging off and did not close. The mini fridge was absolutely filthy, the bathroom was dirty, the fan noisy, A/C was poor. The mirrors were smeared and the blind separating the bathroom from the bedroom needed burning, not just cleaning. Breakfast was supposed to be complementary??? Only Igli and Disappointing were complementary..........EVERYTHING else was chargeable. I refused to pay anymore. My advice is that good accommodation is limited in Murudeshwar and thankfully we only booked one night. DO NOT STAY HERE...........find somewhere else. There was nobody else here...........and I’m not surprised.
